ERIN MCQUILLEN

My artwork is a drawing of me. My face is the subject matter. I used my graphite pencil, paper, tissue, and eraser in this piece. I think my face shows a serious mood and depressed emotion due to my facial expressions. During this work, I focused on proportion, spacing, shading, and composition. I used spacing and composition to have my face centered in the page. I used shading to show depth and details in my face. Lastly, I used proportion to make sure my face is proportional and appears real. My goal is to use all my time as an artist and in this piece I achieved this goal and added a bunch of details. I am overall proud and content with my final product.
